Submarine

In-Class Workshop: “Two Teams, Two Chairs”

How to Play:

Two chairs are placed facing each other a few feet apart.

Two players are blind-folded and seated on the chairs, representing Radar Stations.  The space between the chairs represents the Gibraltar Strait or some other narrow body of water.

The rest of the players are divided up into two equal teams.

One player from each team tries to sneak past, between the chairs.
These players are Submarines.

If either one of the Radar Station students (on chairs) hears a sound, they will shout, "RADAR!" and point to the place where they think the sound came from.

If the Radar Station student is right, the player he points to is SUNK.
If the Radar Station student is wrong, the Submarine student keeps going, quietly, at slow speed, trying to sneak past completely.

The team that gets the most Submarines safely through the strait is the winner.
