Useful Maya Hotkeys

Control - 1  ||   Isolate the object you are working on

FN left arrow key || Moves the pivot point on a Mac

Hold J to turn 45 degrees as you rotate

Change the Background colour - Alt - B

Hold down D-key. Change the pivot point.
